The Volvo S60 model was released for sale in 1998, and like most of the Volvo range, a comfortable quality vehicle synonamous with safety and good levels of equipment. With the same high quality comfortable seating found in top range Volvo's both marketed before and after its inception, it has proven a good seller with owners seeing vast milages with very few problems and good economy particularly on the D5 2.4 Diesels.
Models start with the base S model, and run through Sport, Sport SE, SE, SE LUX models which offers excellent equipment levels and uncompromising comfort for the model as standard.
There are a host of engine and gearbox options including the 2.0 litre and 2.4 litre petrol engines, together with the T5 top of the range petrol available also as an R model with AWD, and the 2.4 D 5 cylinder diesels which offer good performance and economy. There are manual and geartronic 6 speed gearbox options available.
There are many differing paint colours available, including flat and metallic exterior paint trims, together with many differing colour and seat coverings for the interior. There are also differing interior trims available depending upon the seat covering colour.
